Kiroro - Earliest Opening Ski Resort in Japan

Kiroro Resort is the nearest full scale ski resort to Sapporo. Conveniently connected to New Chitose Airport. Kiroro is well known for being the earliest opening ski resort
in Japan, sometimes as early as mid November and the abundance of powder snow
has the resort open until May! The resort is also only 20 kilometers away from the town of Otaru, famous for glassware and its canals and the dramatic scenery around the coastal region of Shakotan which make a fantastic addition to a ski holiday.
